Lauren Lenk grew up in Massachusetts and received her bachelor’s degree in Health Science Nutrition from Keene State College. Upon completing her degree, she became a Registered Dietetic Technician through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Lauren utilized this certification by working in a specialized field with eating disorders as a diet technician and counselor. In this position she focused on implementing positive relationships with food, nutrition education groups, appropriate food behaviors, and counseling for behavior change.
Lauren Lenk completed her year long Dietetic Internship at the University of Saint Joseph, a clinical nutrition focused program. This program provided extensive experience in all fields of nutrition including clinical, long-term care, School nutrition, foodservice, community, mental health, and a specialized rotation working in pediatrics. Lauren Lenk is now a licensed Registered dietitian currently completing her Masters degree in Nutrition through the University of Saint Joseph.
As a dietitian, Lauren enjoys being a team-oriented member of interdisciplinary health professionals to provide the most beneficial and individualized care for each client. Nutrition knowledge is continuously changing in our world, she believes there is so much room to learn and grow as new ideas and interventions continue to evolve.
