Danielle Demerdjian grew up in Massachusetts and is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Lowell where she received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology then going on to receive her Doctor of Physical Therapy. Following obtaining her board certification in physical therapy, she relocated to Hilton Head Island where she has been practicing ever since.
Danielle has worked and obtained clinical experience in various settings from outpatient orthopedic/neuro to subacute rehabilitation, treating patients of various ages and conditions including vestibular rehab, pre and post-operative care, balance and fall prevention, sports specific training, and neuro rehab. Several courses that Danielle has attended include vestibular rehabilitation, spinal manipulation and kinesiotaping as well as obtaining a certification in dry needling (DN-1).
Danielle is passionate about optimizing quality of life through rehabilitation by developing a hands-on patient specific plan of care to promote return to function and healthy lifestyle, while also teaching the patients the tools essential to maintain their goals long term thereby reducing the risk of re-injury or dysfunction. She enjoys being an integral part of a well-rounded team of healthcare professionals that believe and actively promote this concept. She also likes to practice what she preaches through exercising and running many local races as well as other activities that promote well-being such as spending time at the beach and with her dog.
